Whitetail Deer Hunts
Saskatchewan is world-renowned for its giant whitetail deer, and our exclusive hunting area is no exception. With a carefully managed population and a mix of dense cover and open feeding areas, we set high expectations for mature bucks, targeting deer in the 140”+ range.
Hunting Methods: We utilize heated blinds, including insulated wooden box blinds and carpeted pop-up blinds, ensuring comfort in all conditions.
Hunting Ranges: Shooting distances vary from 70 to 150 yards, allowing for precise shot placement.
Natural Feeding Areas: We use food sources that deer naturally recognize and seek out, increasing the likelihood of encounters with trophy bucks.

Group Size: Maximum of 4 hunters per week, with the only exception being pre-booked large groups.
Guiding Ratios: Hunts are either 2-on-1 or 1-on-1, depending on camp capacity for the week

Black Bear Hunts
One of the most exciting aspects of hunting with Piwie Lake Outfitters is the incredible variety of black bear color phases. While we have an abundant population of classic black bears, we also regularly encounter rare color variations, including chocolate, cinnamon, blonde, and two-tone.
Stand Options: Hunts are conducted from ladder stands (single and double), as well as ground blinds for those who prefer not to climb.
Weapon Choices: We cater to rifle, muzzleloader, and archery hunters. Some locations are best suited for close-range setups.
Baiting Strategy: We maintain multiple bait sites, offering a range of opportunities for different hunting styles and weapon choices.
Spring Hunt Bonus Activities: In addition to your hunt, we offer optional activities such as shed hunting and running a trapline before your hunt.

Flights: Fly into Saskatoon, and rent a vehicle to drive up to the camp.
Driving: Guests also have the option to drive directly to camp.

We take care of the game so you can focus on the hunt.

Included Services: Skinning and cleaning of all harvested animals.
